Carolina at New York

Game of the Month: Carolina is out to redeem itself after getting thouroughly beaten by the Jets, 27-0 in Week 1. Bryce Young can only get better after completing 4 of 6 for 21 yards while getting no help from his offensive line, which allowed five sacks in the game and many more QB hits. New Carolina coach Frank Reich is 8-6 straight up and 7-4-3 ATS in preseason and he wants to go into the regular season on at a somewhat higher note. Brian Daboll was 1-2 ATS his first year in preseason and the Giants lost as a favorite last week 21-16 to Detroit. Tommy DeVito went 15-for-24 for 155 yards with a touchdown and interception for the Giants and Tyrod Taylor, who was expected to be the first backup was only 3 of 4 before DeVito replaced him. Adrian Martinez scored on a 1-yard quarterback sneak with 1:51 left to win it for the Lions. Reich covered the spread five of his last six preseason games with Indianapolis.
