The 2014 WNBA season has not gone very well for either Indiana or LA. Both teams expected to contend in their respective conferences, but each finds themselves below .500. The good news is that the parity in the league is such that if the season ended today, they would both be in the playoffs, but their is obviously work to be done. Indiana has done a good job on the defensive end as they allow just 1.8 points per game more than the WNBA leader in fewest points a game allowed. The Fever have been stepping things up on the defensive end of late, allowing 70 points or more in 13 of 15 games, but over their last three no team has reached 70 against them. Los Angeles has been slowed on offense as this is a team that produced 77 or more points in 12 games on the season, but none of them have come in their last four games. The Fever have played to the UNDER in 9 of their last 12, while LA has a 25-9 mark to the UNDER in their last 34 games on a single day of rest. This matchup has produced a 10-2 mark to the UNDER in the last 12 meetings in LA. Take the UNDER in this one.
