Golden State at Minnesota

Golden State's defense has been the story of the last week, and I got a taste of it myself five days ago when I had the Valkyries getting three points at home and still couldn't cash it. The Lynx went in and closed that one out 77-66, a final that landed well below where tonight's number sits. That defense hasn't let up since. Golden State has dropped two straight, both low-scoring nights, and each of its last three games has settled under where Vegas has this one posted. Minnesota's offense is the best in the league on a given night, riding a six-game win streak at 31-7, but scoring machine or not, the Lynx have run into exactly one defense lately that actually slows them down, and it's the one they host again tonight. The professional money agrees. Barely more than one in ten tickets on this total are on the UNDER, yet close to a third of the dollars are, the kind of gap that tells you where the informed action landed.
