Washington at Dallas

Washington plays its sixth road game over the last seven contests. The Mystics have lost six of nine this season because of poor defense. They are allowing 87.2 points per game and enabling opponents to hit 45.9 percent of their shots from the field while forcing just 11 turnovers per game. Washington is #11 in the WNBA in assists and points allowed, plus #10 in scoring. The Mystics are 7-18-2 ATS against a team with a losing straight-up record, as well as 2-8 ATS when playing on two days rest. Dallas is home for the fifth time in six contests. After playing three straight tough teams they catch a break here against a struggling Washington defense. Dallas topped Washington 87-77 on May 18 at the Verizon Center, never trailing and leading by as many as 13 points in the third quarter. In that game, the Wings outscored the Mystics 24-6 from the three-point line and also made 19 of 20 free throws. Washington had trouble staying in front of guard Odyssey Sims, who scored a game-high 22 points and went 10 of 11 at the foul line, so grab home court and take Dallas.
