Winnipeg at St. Louis

Winnipeg is 4-2-2 and has played this season without Connor Hellebuyck, who is serving a suspension, so Stuart Skinner and Clay Stevenson have held the crease. St. Louis is 3-4-1 and lost 5-2 at Nashville on Saturday. I count 27 goals for the Blues in eight games, 3.4 a game, and four or more in four of them: a 4-0 win at Dallas, a 5-3 win over Columbus, a 7-2 win at Ottawa and a 5-4 loss at Minnesota. Mason McTavish, added in the offseason, leads the club with nine points, and Jimmy Snuggerud has four goals. St. Louis has allowed 28 goals in those eight games, 3.5 a game. Kyle Connor has eight goals in eight games for Winnipeg. The Jets scored three or fewer goals in six of their first seven games, and five of those seven were decided by one goal. Anaheim beat them 5-1 while Stevenson stopped 12 of 16 shots. With the Blues scoring at home against this goalie tandem, I'm on St. Louis tonight.
