San Jose at Los Angeles

San Jose is on an unlikely three-game losing streak and needs a win to stay close to Calgary in the Pacific Division.  The Sharks still have the huge talent edge against the faltering Kings, who also have lost three straight and six of their last seven as they dig deeper in the cellar of the Pacific Division.  Los Angeles has scored only 12 goals its last seven games and goalie Jonathan Quick appears to be a shell of his former self with a 3.30 goals-against average and .891 save percentage.  His counterpart, Martin Jones, is 34-15-5 this season with a 2.91 GAA.  San Jose is 8-2 its last 10 games with two days rest and 37-15 its last 52 versus Pacific Division teams.  The Kings are 25-52 their last 77 games overall and 3-14 their last 17 Thursday games.  Play the Sharks.
