WIN

We took the OVER in game on of this series and it came through as the Penguins continued their roll, winning 4-2. In this game we like Pittsburgh to again win by 2+ goals. The Penguins are 9-1 in the playoffs, outscoring their competition by an average of 3.5 to 1.9 goals per game. Yes, we are aware of Philadelphia's recent history of losing game one only to come strorming back. But, twice is too few a sample size for us to put much weight on that. Those first two game two underdog wins for Philadelphia cam against Washington and Montreal. Neither of those two teams hold a candle to Pittsburgh, at least not the way they are playing right now. The fact remains that the Flyers are barely over .500 on the road this season with their defense giving up nearly 3 goals per game. They are just 31-69 the past two seasons revenging a loss. That includes a 5-23 mark on the road following a loss by 2+ goals. The Penguins are just too good right now so we'll take the nice odds on the puckline.
