These are two teams who are battling to stay out of the cellar in the Atlantic Division and Ottawa has won two of the three meetings this season although the Senators now look to avenge a 2-0 loss to the Red Wings on Feb. 2. Ottawa was hurt by numerous penalties in its 4-1 loss to Carolina on Tuesday. Detroit is 37-76 its last 113 games versus Eastern Conference teams and 8-18 its last 26 overall.
