Florida at Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh comes home from a 0-4 road trip that ended Monday with a 5-4 loss at Utah, where the Pens managed just 19 shots on goal. Two of their four goals came on the power play, so five-on-five offense is a problem for a team that is 3-6-1. The Penguins have been off since Monday. Florida has not. The Panthers play the second game of a back-to-back after losing 5-1 at Ottawa on Wednesday. A tired road team won't push the pace against a Pittsburgh club that has shown little ability to finish at even strength. Those tired legs also work against Florida at the other end, because a team slowed by travel and a short turnaround tends to give up fewer clean looks by playing safer. At plus money, the UNDER needs to land about 45% of the time to show a profit, and a rested home side coming off a loss can get there. I'm taking the UNDER.
