The Edmonton Oilers have certainly traveled a lot lately. They closed the preseason in Germany, opened the regular season in Sweden and then played a couple games on the East Coast. They will finish the trip tonight in Winnipeg - much closer to home. The Oilers seem to still be playing hard with no ill effects from the travel as they took out the NY Rangers 2-1 their last time on the ice. Winnipeg has lacked continuity early with wins followed by losses and an even goal count of them and their opponents at 11. The Oilers have a strong recent history here in Winnipeg where they have won three of the last four meetings, holding a 14-8 goal advantage. Play on Edmonton.
