Tennessee at Kansas City

Kansas City already has suffered some season-ending injuries, including running back Spencer Ware and rookie defensive back Ashton Lampkin. Andy Reid isn't interested in putting many starters on the field in Week Four of the preseason as a result.  Reid used Week 2 to give his starters some significant playing time before losing 26-13 at Seattle on Friday. The Chiefs only touchdown was De'Anthony Thomas's 95-yard kickoff return and they totaled only 225 total offense yards. Alex Smith was 7-of-17 for 44 yards, Patrick Mahomes went 8-of-15 for 70 yards and Tyler Bray finished 4-of-6 for 54 yards. Reid is 35-40 straight-up and 33-38-4 ATS in preseason action and the Chiefs are 6-19-1 ATS as preseason favorites dating back several years.  Tennessee has won and covered its final preseason game the last two years, including 21-10 at Miami last year. Coach Mike Mularkey has hinted that wide receivers Eric Decker and rookie Corey Davis, who have returned to practice, could play on Thursday to get some work in with quarterback Marcus Mariota, who was 12-of-21 for 193 yards with no interceptions against the Bears on Sunday.
