Philly won’t use Mike Vick, so the rotation is Vince Young, Mike Kafka and Jerrod Johnson – not exactly one that will put fear into a Rex Ryan defense. They've already had two key injuries: Eagles defensive tackle Mike Patterson has been released from a hospital after suffering a seizure at practice, while DE Victor Abiamiri blew-out his Achilles. And there have been offensive line concerns this whole preseason, with the starting right tackle on the PUP list, the starting right guard is a rookie and the center is coming back from microfracture surgery. This offense has struggled badly against good defenses this preseason with a 13-6 win over Baltimore (just 88 yards rushing, 2.8 yards per carry), and a 24-14 loss at Pittsburgh, down 21-0 at the half, so this O-line has some problems. Coach Andy Reid historically cares less about preseason with a record of 21-30 SU, 22-29 ATS in August. Philly is 4-13 ATS against the AFC in preseason. The Jets (2-1) have closed-out the preseason the last five years at 5-0 SU, 4-1 ATS, four times against the Eagles, beating Philly three times as a dog. Play the Jets.
