New York at Detroit

The Lions are going to look much different offensively than they did in their 16-9 road loss to Philadelphia last Sunday night. Detroit is facing a much worse Giants defense and will be playing indoors, rather than the weather they faced in Philly. Detroit was averaging 33.7 points a game in its last eight games before losing to the Eagles. Jared Goff has a strong history of playing much better in a controlled climate. The best part of the Giants' defense is their pass rush. Yet New York ranks only 23rd in pressure rate. The Giants are hoping to get their star rookie quarterback, Jaxson Dart, back, who has thrown for 10 touchdowns and run for seven scores in seven games. If Dart can't clear concussion protocol this week, gunslinger Jameis Winston would get another start. Winston is very good for the OVER, too, because he's not afraid to throw the ball downfield. The Giants are averaging 25.5 points in their two dome games this season. Take the OVER.
