No respect. It's a powerful motivator in the NFL and Philly is being dis-respected again this week. They are again home dogs and they are using this as a rallying cry. Last week Philadelphia's coaches mapped out a conservative game plan for Nick Foles and it worked perfectly last week vs. Atlanta. He completed 23-of-30 passes for 246 yards with no interceptions as the Eagles defeated the Falcons 15-10. That should do wonders for his confidence after he looked bad the last couple of regular season games and the Eagles outgained the Falcons 334-281. Minnesota's vaunted defense showed some vulnerability during its miracle win over New Orleans as Drew Brees was 25-of-40 for 294 yards and the Saints scored 24 points in the second half after being down 17-0 at halftime. And, this Vikings defense really thrives on home cooking. On the road, it's a different story. At home, Minnesota allowed opposing offenses to score just 13.7 points per game. But on the road, that skyrockets to 19 per game. Case Keenum completed 25-of-40 for 315 yards with the last-second touchdown and a costly interception. Keenum will be facing a tough defense here that is playing at an elite level. On the season, teh Eagles have allowed just 13.0 points per game in this building. Their last three opponents here averaged just 6.3 points each. Philly has multiple threats in the receiving corps, most notably Alshon Jeffery, who had four catches for 61 yards last week. Also, tight end Zach Ertz caught three passes for 32 yards against the Falcons and running back Jay Ajayi had 44 receiving yards to go along with 54 yards on the ground. The posted total is under 40, but the forecast calls for relatively balmy weather with a temperature in the low 50s and only a 10 percent chance of precipitation. The Vikings are 2-7 ATS their last seven playoff road games and the Eagles are 6-2 ATS their last eight home contests. Take the Eagles and the OVER.
