Miami at Buffalo

One consideration to make when playing a game in Buffalo in December is the weather. While there may be some rain during this game, the temperatures are supposed to be in the balmy 50s, rare for Buffalo this time of year. So, Miami will not be disadvantaged here due to the weather. It's no secret: the Bills have problems at QB. The QB carousel will continue this week as E.J. Manuel is out, so Thaddeus Lewis will be behind center again. Lewis has made three starts, and has been rather ordinary. But, the constant change is disruptive to timing for the entire offense. Miami got off to a great start at 3-0, had a rough middle at 1-5, but is back in form now, having won three straight games. They also made a big defensive stand against Tom Brady last week, which should give their defense an extra hop in their step this week vs. the Bills. Miami lost to the Bills at home by 2 points earlier this season, so they will have a little extra in the tank this week. With a potential playoffs berth in the wings, the Fins have to take care of business here. The Bills have given up 20 or more in 13 of their 14 games this season, and have responded by doing so 10 times themselves. The Bills are now 7-1 to the OVER after allowing 350+ yards in their previous game, and are 6-21-1 ATS in their last 28 after a win. They are also 1-8 ATS after a win the past two seasons, showing little consistency. The Dolphins are 17-5 ATS in their last 22 after allowing 350+ yards. Go with Miami and the OVER.
