Many people feel that this is going to be a long, ugly season for Miami. Game one did nothing to change that. The Fins are going with an inexperienced rookie QB in Ryan Tannehill, and although he may someday be a good NFL quarterback, he is a long way from being one now. He threw three INTs, and showed bad decision-making in week one. Tannehill also fumbled once in the game, and the Dolphins defense just isn't good enough to overcome a sloppy, inexperienced offense. And, Tannehill really has no one to throw to as these Dolphins wideouts as a group are the worst in the NFL. Oakland may have lost to the Chargers on Monday night, but they out-gained the Chargers for the game and held a potent Chargers’ attack to a total of 258 yards. Although they did not generate a lot of points, the Raiders’ offense did move the ball well, and had 21 first downs for the game. Teams that generate 20 or more first downs win 60% of the time in the NFL, so the Raiders are a bit below the radar right now. Oakland has been good after playing on Monday lately, and have covered their last four when taking the field on the short week. The Dolphins are the NFL's worst home team at 21-49-1 ATS in their last 71 at home. This game is extremely important for Oakland for two reasons. First, Miami beat them badly (by 20 points) last season so revenge is in play. Second, Oakland has three very tough games coming up on deck (Pittsburgh, Denver, Atlanta). If the Raiders don't win this game, they are possibly looking at an 0-5 start. Expcet the Raiders to bring it all here. Play on Oakland.
