An AFC West battle that is often a physical game in the trenches. The UNDER is on an 8-1 run when these rivals clash. Las Vegas lost its head coach this week and the offense has lost its way the last two games in a 28-14 loss to the Chargers and a 20-9 defeat at home to the Bears. The Las Vegas defense has been more consistent, #10 in yards allowed. The Raiders are 20-8 UNDER the total in divisional play, plus 35-17 UNDER after a double-digit home loss. Denver's defense leads the way, third in the NFL in yards allowed, sixth versus the run and the pass, second in points surrendered (15.2 ppg), fourth in rushing yards per carry (3.7) allowed. But the conservative offense is last in the league on third down (28.57%), #17 in total yards. Look for a defensive battle with more field goals and punts than TDs.
