It is official - Ryan Mallett will get the start for Houston Sunday vs. the Cleveland Browns. The Houston offense had passed for less than 200 yards in each of their last two games, so the change was needed and things should only improve. The bigger issue for Houston has been opposing offenses passing against them as the Texans have allowed an average of over 300 yards per game through the air over their last five games. Many wondered where the Cleveland offense would come from this season. They lost their only game breaker in Josh Gordon, and Brian Hoyer didn't seem to be more than a journeyman. The fact is Hoyer has made 25 starts over the last five seasons and his team has averaged 28.3 points per game, which probably surprises most. He is a big reason why the Browns are 6-3. The problem for Cleveland this season has been their defense. One of the better defenses last season, the Browns have allowed 365 yards per game this year. I like this game to go OVER this low total.
