Detroit was fortunate to escape with an overtime win over the Giants on Sunday, and that could be exactly what the Lions needed to atone for a dismal offensive showing against the Eagles, along with gaining some momentum coming into the Thanksgiving game. They will have to make some adjustments defensively, as New York racked up 517 yards, but Detroit totaled 494 yards itself in its best overall showing since Week 3 against Baltimore. Jared Goff was 28 of 42 for 279 yards, but Jahmyr Gibbs stole the show with 264 yards from scrimmage and three TDs, including a 69-yard scoring run on the first overtime snap. The Lions have beaten Green Bay six of the past eight meetings, but they'll be seeking revenge for a 27-13 loss in Week 1 when the Lions were still getting used to new coordinators on both sides of the ball. The Packers have gone OVER their past four road games, and they are 8-2 OVER on field turf. Detroit is 5-1-1 OVER after totaling more than 350 yards in their previous game. Detroit is 15-5 OVER versus NFC North opponents. Take the Lions on the moneyline, and bet the OVER.
