Detroit has been competitive, even with its 0-4 record, and it should have beaten Baltimore if not for a misguided decision to play prevent defense on fourth down with Lamar Jackson deep in his own territory. The Lions did lose to the Bears last week, but Jared Goff continues to be above average, and he threw for 299 yards and 2 TDs to wide receiver Kalif Raymond. Minnesota is 2-9 ATS its last 11 games and looked awful offensively while losing 14-7 to Cleveland. The Vikings were shut out on 11 straight possessions after an opening-drive touchdown. Minnesota had only 65 rushing yards on 23 carries, and Kirk Cousins went 20 of 38 for 203 yards with an interception behind a shaky offensive line. Minnesota barely won the last meeting, 37-35, last season, and the Vikings are 0-6 ATS their last six games as favorites (1-5 ATS their last six home games overall). Take the points with the Lions.
