Detroit at Green Bay

Detroit does not have a good history at Lambeau Field, but we can throw all those records out the window as the Lions could be playing for a playoff spot for a change if Seattle loses, but even if the Seahawks win the Lions will revel in the opportunity not only to knock Green Bay out of the playoffs, but also to finish above .500 after starting 1-6. Also, if the NFL decides to add an eighth team to the playoffs, the Lions could be in the postseason if they win no matter what the Seahawks do. This is a different Detroit team than what we've seen for many years and they bounced back in a big way by defeating Chicago 41-10 after losing to Carolina 37-23 the week before. Jared Goff was 21 of 29 for for 255 yards and no interceptions and the Lions rushed for 265 yards and they are on a current 8-1 ATS run. Green Bay is making a late-season push as Aaron Rodgers' thumb has healed and the Packers destroyed Minnesota 41-17. Detroit won the first meeting 15-9 and the Lions actually are 8-2 ATS the past 10 meetings. Green Bay has gone OVER five of its past seven, including by 10 points against the Vikings. The Packers are 25-7 OVER their past 32 games after winning by at least two touchdowns. Detroit is 7-3 OVER after scoring at least 30 points its previous game and 13-6 OVER after winning by more than 14 points. The Lions are 12-2 ATS versus the NFC North and the Packers have covered just one of five after scoring more than 30 points their previous game. Take the Lions and the OVER.
