Denver at Kansas City

Thursday 09/17 08:25 PM Eastern

1 unit on Game Total UNDER 43 -110 (risk 1 to return 1.91)  RESULT: LOSS

If your a Denver fan you really have to worry about how much life is left in Peyton Manning's arm. He threw 40 times last week at home vs. Baltimore at just 4.6 yards per attempt, and the the zip and accuracy he once had was gone. And it was pretty visible that his offensive line is shaky. The Ravens played for the short passes, and didn't allow the yards after catch, and the Denver offense managed no touchdowns. The good news is that the Broncos defense allowed fewer than 175 total yards. The Ravens and Broncos combined for two snaps inside their opponent's 20 yard line all game. Division games tend to be played more intensely, and that usually means defense. Right now it looks like the Denver offense is overrated, while the defense may be underrated, making the UNDER an attractive proposition here. The Chiefs are always tough defensively at home where they are now 28-11 to the UNDER in their last 39. They are also 35-19 UNDER in their last 54 home games with a total set in this range (38.5 to 42 points). This one should come in UNDER the total.
