Dallas at Philadelphia

Sunday 09/20 04:25 PM Eastern

1 unit on Dallas +5.5 (-110) (risk 1 to return 1.91)  RESULT: win

1 unit on Game Total UNDER 55.5 -110 (risk 1 to return 1.91)  RESULT: win

Dallas is still an offense that wants to run first to control the time of possession to take the pressure of its defense. But without DeMarco Murray they averaged just 3.5 yards per carry against the Giants, though they won the possession battle by a whopping 37-23 in minutes. That will be their style against the Philadelphia hurry-up offense that looks to tire out defenses. Dallas is on a 4-0 spread run on the road, plus 5-2 ATS overall. The oddsmakers have to make the Eagles totals high, especially after they went wild in preseason, but the games count now and opponents are putting their first-team defensive units against them. Philadelphia is working in a new QB in Sam Bradford and the offense got only 24 points in the opener in a loss at Atlanta, going just 3-of-12 on third down. And that was against a rebuilding Atlanta defense that has been awful the last two years. The Eagles are a money-burning 11-24-1 ATS at home, as well as 5-15-1 ATS against a team with a winning record and 3-11-1 ATS in September. Dallas will look to control the pace and note that the Eagles are 6-2 UNDER the total against a team with a winning record. When these division rivals clash Dallas is 9-4 ATS, including 5-1 ATS at Philadelphia. In addition, the road team is 6-1 ATS and the underdog is a perfect 5-0 ATS. Take Dallas and the UNDER.
