The Brian Schottenheimer era begins in Dallas (at least as the head coach), as he was promoted from offensive coordinator, giving the Cowboys some continuity after ousting Mike McCarthy. The recent big news was the trade of Micah Parsons to the Packers, but the Cowboys aren't getting enough credit for acquiring Kenny Clark, a talented defensive tackle, in return. The three-time Pro Bowler will help against the run, which is what Dallas needed after finishing 17th in run defense in 2024. Dak Prescott will have two star wide receivers to target in CeeDee Lamb and highly-acclaimed George Pickens, who was acquired from Pittsburgh. The Cowboys are counting on rookie running back Jaydon Blue to be the star in an all-new backfield. Philadelphia will have to deal with the Super Bowl hangover, as only one team has returned to the big game and won the past 15 years.
