The Browns are finally moving in the right direction, stockpiling depth and draft picks while going young. They made a good hire in competent and fiery new coach Hue Jackson. QB Robert Griffin is an upgrade, as is first round pick WR Corey Coleman (#15 overall, Baylor). They will look to control the ball and the clock, on a 5-0 run UNDER the total. They face a Philadelphia team that also brings in a new coach in Doug Pederson. He has changed the style on offense from no-huddle, Chip Kelly to a more balanced, ball control style. The wide receiver situation is still a problem, even making a trade in preseason for Dorial Green-Beckham. The Philly offense will go with rookie QB Carson Wentz after trading Sam Bradford last week. Wentz suffered a rib injury during the preseason and looked like he might not see any action this season at all, so there are huge question marks with this offense in Week 1. And the defense is short on talent, ranking #28 in points (26.9 points per game) last year, #30 in yards, and dead last against the run surrendering 134.6 rushing yards per contest. Look for a close game, and grab the dog in a battle of field goals. Play Cleveland and UNDER the total.
