Jayden Daniels returned after missing two games due to an injured knee and threw for 231 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions as Washington defeated the Chargers 27-10 last week. Jacory Croskey-Merritt ran for 111 yards on 14 carries, and Deebo Samuel had eight catches for 96 yards as the Commanders were running on all cylinders. The defense also stepped up and held the Chargers scoreless for the last three quarters. Chicago comes off a bye week after edging Las Vegas when the Bears blocked a last-second field goal. The other win was against the defensively challenged Dallas team, so the Bears still haven't looked too impressive in Ben Johnson's first year as coach.
