Chicago at Detroit

Detroit still is winless after an ugly, 13-10 loss to Cleveland. The Lions are averaging only 16.0 points per game and now are playing with a backup quarterback. Coach Dan Campbell had no imagination in the loss to the Browns as he continued to run the ball with no play action, and the Browns knew what was coming most of the time. Chicago also is having a rough stretch losing its last five games, and now Justin Fields is injured. However, the Bears did put up a fight in losing 16-13 to the Ravens, who were playing without Lamar Jackson. Andy Dalton relieved Fields and finished 11 of 23 for 201 yards and no interceptions. The veteran Dalton is superior to Jared Goff and both of Detroit's backups, Tim Boyle and David Blough. The Bears have won six of the last seven meetings, including 24-14 on Oct. 3 when they racked up 188 rushing yards. The Lions couldn't take advantage of Baker Mayfield, who was dealing with several injuries, and now they have to try and get their first win on a short week. Play the Bears on the moneyline.
