The Carolina Panthers are now the only unbeaten team left in the NFL at 11-0. they have become the last team to start the season at least 11-0 since the 2011 Green Bay Packers. Carolina has not played since Thanksgiving, and have a little extra rest here, and over their last three games have allowed a total of 40 points. New Orleans did not get into the end-zone last week for the first time since 2005, against another team that has been playing well on defense in Houston. It does not look to get any easier here vs. Carolina, as the last three games vs, the Panthers Drew Brees has thrown for fewer than 300 yards in all of them, and just a total of three TD's. I think the oddsmakers have ramped up the total here, but I just don't see a 50+ point game. The Saints have managed a grand total of 20 points over their last two games, and the task this week is even tougher. Carolina is 10-3-1 to the UNDER in their last 14 division games, while the Saints have failed to top the total in their last five at home vs. a winning team. This one falls short. Take the UNDER.
