Buffalo at Pittsburgh

This might be Mike Tomlin's best coaching job yet as he has the Steelers in playoff contention following an 0-3 start with backup quarterbacks. Diontae Johnson returned a punt 85 yards for a touchdown and caught a 2-yard pass for another score and the Pittsburgh defense picked off Kyler Murray three times in the second half as it beat the Cardinals 23-17. Rookie Devlin Hodges managed the game well and finished 16-of-19 for 152 yards and a TD. The Steelers defense is sixth in the NFL in yards allowed and fifth in passing yards allowed. The trade for safety Minkah Fitzpatrick in September has also paid big dividends. The Steelers have won six of seven games since his acquisition and he has eight takeaways over that span while scoring two touchdowns. Buffalo is playing great defense, but the Bills are only #20 in the NFL in yards gained and #27 in passing yards. Quarterback Josh Allen has been adequate overall, but still can't be trusted in crunch time. Pittsburgh has gotten the money five of its last six home games and the Steelers are 6-2 ATS their last eight games versus the AFC. Pittsburgh is also 11-3-1 ATS its last 15 after an ATS win.
