Atlanta at New York

Sunday 10/05 01:00 PM Eastern

1 unit on Atlanta +4.5 (-110) (risk 1 to return 1.91)  RESULT: LOSS

These teams come in off diametrically opposed results. The Falcons were eaten alive at Minnesota by a rookie quarterback, and allowed 41 points. Meanwhile, the Giants were manhandling the Washington Redskins in a Thursday night affair 45-14. That has dramatically changed the odds for this game, and the value is now on the dog. Eli Manning is off a pair of huge games, but that certainly has not been his norm as he has thrown 44 TDs the last two years, but has also tossed 42 INTs, and he has five already this season. Atlanta has the better offense here behind Matt Ryan, and this has been the ideal spot for the Falcons. Teams that are coming off a road loss, playing on the road again are 55% ATS winners blind, so this is a very solid spot for Atlanta. The Falcons also own an impressive 37-13-3 ATS mark in their last 53 after allowing over 150 rushing yards in their previous game, and the Falcons are 5-1 ATS here in their last six. The Giants are now 0-4 ATS in their last four after scoring over 30 points in their previous game. Take the contrarian play and make the play on Atlanta.
