2017 Season NFL Football Past Picks

Arizona is playing its fifth preseason game. They come in off a 24-14 win at Atlanta as John Brown caught two touchdown passes of 28 and 21 yards and Carson Palmer finished 8-of-13 for 86 yards. Backup Drew Stanton went 4-of-6 for 53 yards and Blaine Gabbert was 6-of-9 for 84 yards. Coach Bruce Arians plans to start Blaine Gabbert and then switch to Knight after the first quarter. The Cardinals have won and covered their final preseason game the last three years, including a 38-17 blowout of Denver last year. The Broncos defeated Green Bay 20-17 with Trevor Siemian completing 13-of-22 passing for 127 yards, but backup quarterback Paxton Lynch was lost to a shoulder injury, leaving the team with little depth at that position for this matchup.  Third string QB Kyle Sloter was 4-of-7 for 49 yards and will likely get most of the playing time on Thursday with wide receiver Jordan Taylor serving as an emergency backup.
