WIN

The Giants have covered three-straight ATS and managed to earn a pair of straight-up wins at home against the Panthers and Raiders, but tonight marks a huge step up in class. Tampa Bay was cruising on a four-game win streak before losing to the Saints in Week 8. A bye week didn't help as the Bucs were upset in Washington as 9.5-point favorites. It's their first time losing two in a row since Week 11-12, 2020. Tom Brady's offense has endured its share of injuries, yet still leads the NFL in scoring (31.0 PPG) and efficiency (6.2 yards/play and 0.474 points/play). Brady is also 51-15 SU off a loss, but I'm not looking for a pedal-to-the-floor approach tonight. The Bucs lost DT Vita Vea (knee) last week, one of their key run stuffers. New York's only hope in this game is to try and control the clock (unlikely) so they can lean on their run game. Tampa's time of possession ranks 18th but if they can get a lead (very likely), it'll ease the burden on its defense. The Bucs can't afford turnovers or penalties, so it'll take a disciplined approach, which they have the leadership to accomplish. New York is only scoring 7.6 first-half points per game (#29) and at home, Tampa is outscoring opponents by 15.5 points before half-time. Once the Giants become one-dimensional, they are done for. Tampa Bay lost 29-19 in Washington last week and home teams off a double-digit loss as a road favorite are 41-11 (79%) UNDER. Look for a similar score tonight with the Bucs coming out on top. Combine the Buccaneers (-500) on the moneyline and the full game UNDER 49.5 (-102) into a 2-team parlay at +138 odds.
