Miami at Golden State

Klay Thompson hit a three-pointer with a second left in overtime Wednesday night to beat the Clippers 117-116, and the Heat play the Warriors tonight on the second night of a back-to-back. Miami is 3-5, and Golden State has won five straight after an 0-3 start. I went back through the schedule, and Miami's only earlier back-to-back ended in a 115-110 loss at Charlotte, a game that totaled 225 points. Rui Hachimura had 21 points, nine rebounds and seven assists against the Clippers, and Brook Lopez added 20 points. Miami is getting scoring from more than one place, and that keeps it in games. The Warriors beat Phoenix 116-113 on Monday after trailing 55-39 in the second quarter, the third straight win they took from a double-digit deficit. That game used the seventh different starting lineup Golden State has run in eight games. Their 112-95 win over the Lakers earlier in the streak finished at 207 combined points. The Heat's win at the Clippers needed overtime and still finished at 233 combined points. Our bankroll needs Miami to cover a little more than half the time. I'm on Miami with the points and the UNDER tonight.
