The Athletics are on a seven-game losing streak while scoring a total of only 13 runs in that span. Brady Singer will start for the Royals and he is 3-2 with a 2.84 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP this season and he has especially been tough at home where he owns a 2.27 ERA and a .186 opponent batting average. The Kansas City Royals and the Oakland A's both suffered therough a brutal season last year. The Oakland A's are improed at 19-27, but the Kansas City Royals have really surprised. The Royals are 27-19 on the season, and have gone from a bottom-dweller to a contender in a very short time. Kansas City shoed those changes by taking the opener in this series 6-2. I think Oakland starter Ross Stripling is starting to come around. A win here ill be his 3rd in his last five decisions. The Royals took a chance on Seth Lugo, and are they glad they did. Lugo has won six of his nine decisions for the Royals, and has partially been responsible for the Royal's improvement. I don't see this as a good situation for Oakland as they have lost six straight on the road, and scored a total of 10 runs in the six games. Make the play on Kansas City.
