West Virginia had a huge showdown at home last week and got steamrolled by Oklahoma, 56-28, ending their Big 12 title and playoff hopes. The Mountaineers are on a 3-7 ATS run on the road, plus 3-8 ATS after a spread loss. Their totals are always high because of their pass-happy attack, but the defense has played well on a 23-9 run UNDER the total. The Mountaineers are also 43-18 UNDER after allowing fewer than 170 yards passing in their previous game. They are a road favorite, but it's Senior Day at Iowa State. The Cyclones have plenty of offensive talent, using two good QBs in young Jacob Park and veteran Joel Lanning, who have combined for 21 TDs, to just seven picks. Wide receiver Allen Lazard has had a great season and sophomore RB Mike Warren adds balance. They have played hard all season for first-year coach Matt Campbell, losing to Baylor by a scant three as a +17 dog, to Oklahoma State (38-31) as a +14.5 road dog, by five to Kansas State and by 10 to Oklahoma as a three-TD dog. The Cyclones have finally clicked the last two games with strong offensive performances, topping Kansas (31-24) and Texas Tech (66-10). Iowa State finished with 608 yards of total offense in the blowout of Texas Tech. Iowa State is also on a 7-2 spread run (5-0 ATS at home), so back the hungry home dog in a defensive duel. Take Iowa State and the UNDER.
