Charlotte at Temple

Charlotte lost 50-10 at North Texas last Saturday and was outgained 580 to 274. It is 0-6, allows 42.2 points per game (137th among 138 FBS teams), and gives up 467 yards per game. Every opponent has scored at least 26 against it, and Memphis scored 59 on 674 yards. It scores 16 points per game, 131st, and has lost the ball 15 times in six games while taking it away four times, including four turnovers in each of the two games before North Texas. Its only game above 21 points was a 43-41 loss to The Citadel. Temple is 2-4, scoring 24.8 points per game (94th) and allowing 26.3 (tied for 95th). It gave up 34 to UConn last Saturday while gaining 436 yards, and its 49-48 loss at Toledo came on 425 yards for Temple and 536 for Toledo. Temple scored 48 in that game and 38 against Rhode Island. Charlotte’s six games have each produced at least 41 combined points, and I’m taking the OVER Saturday afternoon.
