Washington at Nebraska

October 31, 2026
img8:00 PM Eastern

Nebraska scored 17 and 14 in its last two games, losing 20-17 to No. 7 Indiana and 17-14 at Oregon. The season average of 35.6 points a game, second in the Big Ten, was built on wins over Ohio, Bowling Green, FCS North Dakota, Michigan State and Maryland, none by fewer than 18 points. Nebraska is 5-2, and Washington is 4-3 with a 1-3 Big Ten mark. The Huskies lost by three to Minnesota, by four at USC and by 17 to Iowa, then won 38-26 at Purdue. USC was ranked 18th and Iowa 20th when Washington played them. The 38 at Purdue was Washington's highest score since the 48 against Eastern Washington. Washington throws for 282.7 yards a game, third in the Big Ten, and has scored at least 21 points in six of seven games. Nebraska passes for 235.7 yards a game, ninth in the Big Ten, so a deficit puts the ball in the hands of its ninth-ranked passing game. Washington loses this game more often than it wins it, and a price this long pays our bankroll for the nights it does win, so I'm on the Huskies Saturday night.
