Utah vs. West Virginia

HEART OF DALLAS BOWL - Utah finished its season losing six of its last eight games to barely become bowl-eligible, and the Utes are nearly a touchdown favorite in this game due to Kyle Whittingham's success in bowl games. However, West Virginia is #14 in the nation in total yards while scoring 36.2 points per game, but will not have QB Will Grier as he's out with an injury. That means the Mountaineers will rely more on Kennedy McCoy, who rushed for 137 yards on 25 carries in the season finale against Oklahoma. Backup quarterback Chris Chugunov was 10 of 20 for 137 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. Utah salvaged the regular season finale against Colorado with Troy Williams throwing for 181 yards with no touchdowns or picks, but Tyler Huntley will be starting this game after recovering from an injury. The Utes won last year's bowl game 26-24 over Indiana, but couldn't cover a three-point spread. The Mountaineers are 3-1-1 ATS after a loss and have enough offensively to keep this one close.
