Texas-San Antonio at Memphis

When you see Memphis as just a 3-point favorite against little-known Texas-San Antonio, it just doesn't look right. Memphis is known for running up and down the field with an aggressive passing attack and strong running game. Well, the line opened at Memphis -5 and is down as of this writing to -3. I agree with the move. Memphis is off a very physical game with Mississippi State, in which they pulled out a 31-29 win, but the stats were telling. The Tigers were out-gained 468-336, and they also struggled against Arkansas State despite putting up 680 yards of offense, but they couldn't cover -5.5. UT San Antonio is 3-0 SU and ATS and owns a win against Illinois. The Roadrunners put up just shy of 500 yards against Illinois and will have no problem scoring against a very weak Memphis defense that has yielded over 1,000 yards in the air in their two games vs. FBS teams.
