Temple snapped a four-game losing streak, but it was against South Florida, which is 1-8 this season and the Owls have a much tougher task this week against Houston. Temple was averaging only 13.4 points against FCS opponents this season before its offensive explosion against the Bulls, but even if they come near that again it won't be enough to offset the Cougars' offensive prowess as they are averaging 36.8 points and 451.2 yards of offense. Houston somehow scored 63 points and still lost at SMU with Clayton Tune throwing for 527 yards and seven TDs plus rushing for 111 yards. The Cougars totaled 710 total offense yards, but yielded 642. Temple doesn't have the kind of offense that can come close to outscoring the Cougars, who won last year's meeting 37-8. The Owls are 1-7 ATS their past eight road games and 3-9 ATS their past 12 conference games. The Cougars are 19-9 ATS after an ATS loss. Lay the points with Houston - Max Play.
