Under Jim Harbaugh, the Stanford Cardinal have become competitive again and optimism reigns supreme behind the arm of Andrew Luck, a future NFL QB. Games are won and lost in the trenches and the Cardinal have a big advantage here. Luck is protected by an offensive line that returns four, and allowed the second fewest sacks in the nation a year ago. Give an intelligent and gifted QB time, and he is going to make things happen. That may hold true in this game especially with UCLA returning just a single defensive lineman from a year ago. The Bruins have to find replacements on the defensive side for four all-conference players. Kansas State ripped the front seven apart with over 300 on the ground last week. If they try to stack the box, Luck is more than equipped to take it down field. The Cardinal is 14-3 ATS after a successful game in the air, throwing for 280+. I like Stanford in this one.
