South Florida at Texas-San Antonio

I had UTSA getting points at Texas State on September 12, and the Roadrunners won outright, 31-26. Both teams arrive off games that totalled 30 points: UTSA won at Rice 16-14, and South Florida lost to Temple 17-13. South Florida has the better defense. It ranks 19th in the country, allowing 14.6 points per game, and has given up no more than 24 in any of its five games. UTSA's defense is tied for 97th at 26.2 per game, and four of its five opponents gained 400 yards or more. The exception was Rice, at 232. South Florida scored 28 at Army, whose defense is tied for 44th at 19.75 points per game, so South Florida's offense has already scored on a better unit than this one. UTSA put up 59 points against Colorado State on September 26 and turned it over twice at Rice last week. Back the OVER tonight.
