San Diego State at Northern Illinois

A pair of non-conference teams clash that both like to run the football. San Diego State has star RB Donnel Pumphrey, a Heisman candidate who ran for 281 yards and three TDs to help defeat Cal. And the defense has been sharp, allowing 20 points per game. This is the start of a two-game trip for SDSU, at South Alabama next week.
