Rutgers has had a reasonable amount of experience vs. this Navy team, and both teams are off to a 2-1 start as this becomes a pivotal game for both with the winner moving to 3-1. Rutgers has not looked good despite the 2-1 record as they squeaked past Washington State by 3, struggled to a 38-25 win vs. Howard, and lost for the first time vs. Penn State last week - a game that may have left them both physically and emotionally drained. Navy may have one of their best teams in a few years as they now have a maturing, athletic QB to run the option in Keenan Reynolds. Reynolds is a strong runner. He also has Noah Copeland who is generating 7.4 yards per carry, and they will be a difficult tandem for Rutgers to deal with. Rutgers has not dealt with losing very well as they are now 1-7 ATS following a loss. Navy, on the other hand, has been a perfect 6-0 ATS when following a win. Navy has the goods this season. so lay the points and grab Navy.
