Purdue at Iowa

After winning nine total games the last four years, rebuilding Purdue has vastly exceeded expectations with four wins, including a pair in conference play. A pair of quarterbacks have thrown for 18 TDs, 10 picks, while running backs D.J. Knox and Tario Fuller both average over 5.7 yards per carry. Sophomore QB Elijah Sindelar has stepped in and played well for injured starter David Blough. They come off a loss to Northwestern but the offense passed for 398 yards and two touchdowns. The Boilermaker defense limited the Wildcats to just 94 yards on the ground, its third game in a row holding the opponent under 100 yards rushing. The undervalued Boilermakers are on a 10-3 ATS run on the road, including 10-2-2 ATS away against teams with winning home marks. Iowa lost a lot from the strong teams they had the last two years. The Hawkeyes nearly upset Penn State, allowing a score on the final play, and whipped Ohio State, 55-24. However, they have four losses on the season after starting 3-0 and come off a 38-14 defeat at Wisconsin. Iowa has a losing record in Big 10 play and the offense is #116 in the nation in total yards.
