Old Dominion vs. South Florida

Old Dominion is riding a five-game win streak, but as with South Florida, the Monarchs will be without star quarterback Colton Joseph, who entered the transfer portal. Byrum Brown, the Bulls' starting QB, has opted out, as he will likely follow his coach, Alex Golesh, to Auburn. Defensive line coach Kevin Patrick will serve as South Florida's interim head coach. Joseph's backup, Quinn Henicle, is a run-pass QB who has rushed 54 times for 380 yards and three TDs in his career. Old Dominion has allowed only 6.5 points per game while outscoring opponents 136-26 in its past four games. That is a vastly improved defensive squad after yielding 132 points in its prior three games. South Florida has injuries and opt-outs in the secondary. The Bulls will start senior QB Gaston Moore, who is 14-for-20 for 54 yards this season in mop-up roles. The Bulls are 2-5 ATS in their past seven games against the Sun Belt Conference.
