Iowa still hasn't settled on a starting quarterback heading into this one, with Hank Brown and Jeremy Hecklinski both in the mix and no official word from Kirk Ferentz as of the final days of preparation- a real unresolved situation for a team that's 2-0 and ranked in the top twenty. That uncertainty matters less than it might seem, because the story here is Northern Iowa's offense, which is averaging 40 points a game and just hung 56 on Drake. The Panthers' only loss came on the road at Eastern Washington, a game where they still put up 24 points against a defense that's given up points all year, and Iowa's own defense, for all its statistical dominance so far, hasn't faced anything resembling Northern Iowa's pace.
