Northern Illinois at Maryland

The Northern Illinois Huskies are coming off an 8-5 season and have now won two straight Bowl games. They may not reach the same level of success this season, as they have lost a lot of solid players, especially from their strong defense from a year ago. The QB room has several options, but that is because they don't have anyone that stands out, so their offense may struggle early until they get that settled. They are also going with a new offensive scheme. Maryland finished last season 4-8, and they may slip some this year. They lost four quarterbacks who were on the roster last season, so moving the ball is not going to come easily, and they are projected to be at the bottom, or near the bottom, of the ACC this season. Neither team has many answers on offense, and I will make the play on the UNDER.
