This New Mexico State team has really had problems building a program for a long time, and the lack of a conference affiliation won't make it any easier. They are a woeful 1-7 on the season, barely beating lowly Abilene Christian. As a result of where they stand at this point, his team is likely to just play out the string. UL Lafayette would become Bowl eligible with a win, getting to 6-2. They sit on top of the Sun Belt, and are unbeaten in conference play. The Ragin Cajuns can score vs. bad teams, as they have touched 70 points and 48 points already this season. They are well within their means to tackle the huge number here. New Mexico just 3-13 ATS in their last 16 and they are 5-17 ATS in their last 22 vs. good teams like Lafayette (teams wining by 10+ points per game). The Aggies just aren't competitive on either side of the ball. Lay the bundle, and play on Louisiana Lafayette.
