Nevada at Fresno State

Two struggling teams meet up in this one but with Nevada getting double digits while Fresno State's only win was against Incarnate Word before losing to Alabama and Washington by a combined 89-26 score. Nevada won last year's meeting 27-22 and the Wolf Pack has covered the spread four of the last five meetings at Fresno State and the road team has covered the last six meetings. Ty Gangi, Kaymen Cureton and David Cornwell have split time at quarterback for the Wolf Pack with Gangi completing 35-of-74 for 476 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions and Cureton completing 52.6 percent of his passes for 213 yards with three TDs and one pick. Fresno State is breaking in a new system with new head coach Jeff Tedford going to a pro-style offense and sophomore QB Chason Virgil is 48 of 83 for 524 yards but has only three TD passes and has been picked off twice. Fresno State hasn't proven that it can cover a big number, so go with Nevada to get the money on Saturday night.
